That's true, there is no Visual FoxPro "10". The last version of VFP released by Microsoft was 9.0, in 2004. Two Service Packs and a couple of hot fixes were released later, and a community portal for extending VFP was opened around the same time. Microsoft support for Visual FoxPro was officially discontinued in January of 2015.

However, there are thousands, no, tens of thousands, perhaps even hundreds of thousands of VFP apps still running, and will continue to run for years. Unfortunately, public perception of VFP's demise has led to a lack of investment by Fox developers in VFP, which then further reinforces said public perception.

What many people don't realize is that despite the discontinuation of support from MSFT, there is a rich VFP ecosystem very much alive and well. This book provides the most comprehensive examination of the Fox world. Written by VFP's first Lifetime Achievement Award winner, there is no better resource for your VFP apps for the next ten years.
